Scooby Doo, where are you?

Friends, it’s Spooktober! The month of scary and lit pumpkins is here. Traditionally, for me, that means characters from horror movies and scary stories are in line. Can’t I hear “Scooby Doo, where are you?” shouting from somewhere???
In fact, I spend the rest of the year painting other miniatures and postpone anything thematically appropriate until October or November. Once again, some nightmarish fellows have come together for this year. But we’ll start off in a fairly relaxed manner:

In my childhood, Scooby Doo was an integral part of the Saturday morning program. Get up early, some cereal, blanket, sofa, off you go. I used to watch a lot of Scooby Doo. However, when I look at the intros of the various seasons, it can only have been the first two seasons, the rest I do not know:

I think Scooby Doo was always good entertainment, but nothing more. I was certainly not a fan. As a solid building block of my childhood and also a general part of pop culture, the troupe still had to be in my collection. Fortunately, Kev White has kneaded all five characters and released them via Hasslefree.

Das Team musste ich natürlich haben. Ich liebe die charaktervollen Posen! Schaut euch allein schon Scooby und Shaggy an:

The two are immediately recognizable. I’m not used to any problems from Hasslefree, so these minis were also easy to work with. I mean, with all fifths was even almost nothing to clean. The painting is again very much based on the original. The design is not very complex anyway, the original is from 1969. It was a lot of fun to bring the Scooyb team to life. Scooby Doo, where are you???
