As the last character of the classic Ghostbusters movies I painted Lous Tully aka Rick Moranis. The miniature comes in a set with Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) from Crooked Dice. I don’t know why he was standing around so long without any paint. I actually like the miniature very much, it captures the nervous comedy of the character wonderfully and is again an excellent realization of a movie character by Crooked Dice.
Louis Tully is for me a real highlight in both movies. It wouldn’t have needed this character in this form at all, especially the first movie would have worked with him in a less funny way. Nevertheless, Rick Moranis created a guy who is likeable and annoying at the same time, but who you just love to watch. He is one of those characters who enrich a great movie even more. With the exception of Space Balls I haven’t seen a movie with Rick Moranis since my childhood, but every time I see him in Ghostbusters or Space Balls I miss him today. Maybe one day we’ll see him again in a new movie, that would be a small celebration.
